I’m so excited to share this Wildflower Field family session with you today! The Nichols Family was so kind to photograph for me for my promo family session, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about family sessions. I get to capture genuine moments between family members that they will forever get to keep and look back on!

Wildflower Field Family Session

Man oh man was it humid! The mosquitos came out to play as well. We were actually trying to find another field, but came across this beauty of a place! We were on a time crunch, so we instead of wasting time to find the other field we decide to stop here for our promo family session! The mom’s husband and oldest son was not able to come, but literally in 10 minutes we managed to captured beautiful moments with her and her other two children. The mom, Haley, decided to have fun herself by spinning in the field. I loved it and her energy was amazing! It’s always fun when a client wants to take charge and just go with it by making up her own poses or prompts as I just capture the moments. She felt that comfortable and just went for it!

Her two youngest are just adorable! I praise them for being able to pose long enough in the field with bugs flying around. I hated it for them just not knowing how many bugs there were ahead of time, but they did it! Next session we said we will definitely need BUG OFF spray for sure!! My fave moment was when Haley mentioned about spinning around in the field! We both had the same thought, so as soon as she said it I said heck yes!! She knew what I had in mind before I spoke it. It just came out looking so magical and I was in aw!

To the Nichols Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great as always. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
