I’m so excited to share this college grad senior session done in Shreveport, LA with you today as a portrait photographer! When the grad med student Kamri reached out about senior photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with her! There’s something so special about senior sessions. It’s def a milestone that needs to be documented! Just the thrill of photographing the seniors with that “I did it” accomplishment is so exciting and I’m glad I got to be there photographing these moments for her!

Shreveport College Grad Senior Session 

With the session happening in July it was definitely humid! Luckily we photographed a little over an hour before Sunset when it was the coolest of the day. She brought four outfits in which we got to photographer her all in. I loved she was able to bring her cap and gown too! What was so special about this session was not only was she graduating college, but as a med student with a masters degree! This girl definitely meant business with school!

We took photos at the LSUS campus. Even though she was graduating from Ochsner LSU, the campus at LSUS was much prettier! The whole time we were just laughing, being silly, and overall having a good time. She felt so comfortable and at ease. There were so many moments she would naturally do something and I was like “OMG! I love that! Lets get a photo of it!” if I already didn’t get a photo of it to begin with. She told me after graduation she was heading towards Texas which is exciting an adventure for her!

To Kamri, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You were so sweet, and it was great getting to know you better. I can’t wait to take future sessions! It was also a pleasure getting to know your mom, Tanya, via our reveal session during our zoom call!
