I’m so ecstatic to share this couples session with you today as a Shreveport, LA portrait photographer! When the Whitlock’s signed up for the couples photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about couple sessions. Photographing couples together expressing their love for one another to the world is amazing to witness as a photographer. I love being able to document the couple’s love and seeing them getting to experience their sparks again and again.

Shreveport – Couples Session

Thankfully it wasn’t that humid yet with it being at the end of July, but since it was photographed in the morning time it worked out well.  The session took place on a green field near LSUS campus. They both made the session so much fun by being carefree and going along with my goofy prompts. They have been together so long and have a 9 year old together that was nice to be able to photograph their session!

My favorite part of the session was when we were doing the “Titanic” pose. Brittany couldn’t help, but gave Ryan a hard time in a loving way about how he was bending his arms down with hers in a robotic way instead of a smooth transition. It was so funny that she had to show him how to do it. We all laughed and I told them that now matter how silly it seemed the photos will come out amazing. Guess what?! It did! Brittany actually loved one of the photos as one of her favorites! Another funny scene was when I told them to bump into each other and pretend they are saying “no, you stop it…no YOU stop it”. They did it so well it turned out super cute.

To the Whitlock’s, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You two looked great and never doubted that you wouldn’t make the session fun! I can’t wait to keep photographing for y’all for years to come!
