I’m so excited to reminisce about Alrich’s Wedding day taken in Shreveport, Louisiana at Rose Park Baptist with you! It was one of my first weddings I’ve taken. When the bride, Lauren, reached out about engagement and wedding photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about wedding days. It’s the most important day not only for the bride and groom, but for both families and friends who get to witness two people become one as they say their vows. 

Shreveport, LA Rose Park Baptist Wedding Day

I remember this wedding like it was yesterday. When I first did their engagement for Blaze & Lauren it was SUPER cold! So cold that we had to go in side after every 2 poses to get warm by the furnace in their home. I laughed and told them that when they look back on these photos you won’t be able to tell they were cold and I was right but they definitely won’t forget!

As far as the wedding day it was so special to get to experience this young couple enjoy it all. I was there from the “getting ready” to the “departure”. We had so much fun during the bridal party photos. We did the “first look” photo and it was so cute to see the bride get all giddy and excited for the groom to see her dressed as a princess. The whole day just went by so smoothly and everyone was so relaxed. My favorite moment was when they did a slide show dedicated to the bride’s father. The bride sat next to her dad and the way he teared up at his baby girl was just beautiful and I was so happy to capture that for them.

To the Alrich couple, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Y’all are the cutest and it’s amazing to see y’all’s love grow overt time. It was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see y’all continue to grow!
